How to Treat Dandruff Once and For All

Tired of big snow flakes falling from your head? Dandruff isn't just an embarrassing thing, it's an unhealthy scalp/skin thing. Itchiness and buildup isn't just annoying, it's a condition that's hard to treat. That is, if you're using the so-called dandruff products that have artificial ingredients in them.

You have a very common problem that most people deal with all their lives without any real solution. This is because dandruff can be caused and aggravated by chemicals of shampoos, hair products and even the products made to treat dandruff. In other words, the chemicals and artificial ingredients aren't healthy and natural for your scalp (and skin) so they may treat the symptoms of dandruff temporarily. They may make it worse. They may do nothing at all.

Your scalp is also your skin. So all skin should be treated the same way - like the largest organ of your body that it is. It provides the first and biggest barrier of defense from germs and toxins that could enter the body. However, by using products that aren't organic and all natural, you're actually rubbing toxins into your body's protective layer directly and introducing all these poisons through the skin and into the blood stream.

Manmade cheaper ingredients in more expensive shampoos, dandruff shampoos and medicines clog your pores and aggravate the natural ph balance of your scalp and skin. Your body doesn't know what to do with these ingredients so they fight to try and remove these toxins. Your pores don't get a chance to clear out and do their jobs of removing toxins.

It's recommended that if you can't eat it, then don't put it on your skin! We can make a shampoo/body wash that is from pure essential oils. You can use this to replace all soap and cleaning products in your home. You can even wash your dishes and laundry with it. Now remember, since there are no fillers and artificial ingredients, a little of this goes a long ways. (Use about a dime size for your hair, for instance.) You can also make a spray with this essential oils "soap" and distilled water. Use it to clean counters, furniture, appliances, to freshen and clean the air in your home, to prevent and kill bed bugs, to disinfect the home, keep mold off shower curtains and much more.

Also, we recommend that you do a nightly mask with coconut oil and one of these oils: tea tree or lavender. Some people prefer lavender at night as it is calming and helps them sleep better. Then they choose the tee tree essential oil mask during the day or when they have a day off during the weekend as it gives more alert, focused benefits. Rub the oils into your scalp and leave them on overnight. In the morning, wash your hair and use a tiny bit of coconut oil as a skin and hair conditioner. Remember, these are pure oils so a little goes a long ways. You don't need much.

You should see results instantly or in a day or two. Some dandruff is more stubborn but most people see great results within less than a week. Do this as often as needed. Essential oils come from plants, herbs, roots, etc. so you are also getting many anti-aging, antioxidants and nourishment with their use.

Make sure to drink lots of purified water. Get daily exercise. Eat foods and take supplements with the good Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats that your skin, brain, heart and organs need. These include: avocados, nuts, salmon, sardines and coconut oil. Some good supplements are borage oil, evening primrose, fish oil, Vitamins A & E.

In addition, make sure your house has proper humidity. If you live in cold weather and your home is too dry due to the cold weather and the constant heat that you must have on to stay warm, run some humidifiers. Place a drop or two of Germ Killer to kill any germs and bacteria in the air. This also delivers the phytochemicals and nutrients you and your family need. The essential oils in Germ Killer will also keep your humidifiers mold and germ free. Germ Killer can also be made into a spray (as instructed earlier) and replace bleach and disinfectants such as Clorox bleach, Lysol and other products that are so toxic.

Don't forget, your scalp is your skin and to take care of skin, don't put anything on it that you wouldn't eat. If you don't know what an ingredient in your products is, most likely, it's a chemical and will harm your skin, scalp and isn't good for you internally.
